Glue | Greendale contact glue can 1 liter
Greendale contact adhesive 101 is a liquid contact adhesive based on synthetic rubbers. It is a universal adhesive with a high bonding strength and which is resistant to high temperatures, moisture and ageing. Greendale contact adhesive 101 has a high solids content and is therefore also suitable for gluing porous surfaces. The glue has a long open time. The combination of these properties makes the adhesive ideally suited for bonding, both mutually and in combination, of materials such as: wood, HPL, sheet metal, leather, veneer, rubber, plastics, etc.
Product processing:
The materials to be glued must be dry, free of dust and grease. Apply sufficient adhesive to both surfaces. When the adhesive is sucked into the surface with porous materials, apply a second adhesive layer. Allow the glue to dry for at least 10 – 15 minutes. The drying time is longer at temperatures below 20°C and at a higher humidity of 65%. If the adhesive still feels tacky, join the surfaces in the correct position. Parts once brought into contact do NOT allow corrections.
After joining, press down the entire surface with sufficient pressure (min. 4 Kg/cm²). When pressing manually with a glue roller from the center to the sides, work to prevent air entrapment. Materials are immediately suitable for further processing. To achieve the ultimate strength, the adhesive bond must be protected against high temperatures and direct sunlight for 3 days. Storage between 7 and 25°C. In cold seasons allow glue and materials to acclimate to room temperature. Shaking or stirring before use is recommended.
Safety recommendations:
Greendale liquid contact adhesive is highly flammable. Keep away from sources of ignition – No smoking. Do not inhale spray mist. Use only in well-ventilated areas. Vapours may cause drowsiness and dizziness. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice. If swallowed, do not induce vomiting, seek medical advice immediately and show the container or label.
The above processing instructions are based on careful research and extensive practical experience. Due to the wide variety of materials and conditions under which gluing takes place, we cannot accept any liability for the results obtained.
