Glue | Silicone glue | Dowsil™ 732 RTV transparent | tube 90 ml

Dowsil™ 732 Silicone Adhesive is a high performance adhesive that is approved to FDA 177.2600.
The adhesive offers a strong and long-lasting flexible bond and is made of 100% silicone rubber.
The adhesive dries to a dielectric, making it ideal for use in electrical appliances and machines.

Applications

Dowsil™ 732 silicone adhesive is suitable for:

repair
ovens, stovers and other heating equipment
automotive oil and other coolant sealing applications
sealing joints
making small shaped articles (for example for elastic hinges in model building)
coating of materials

Clean and degrease the material to be bonded beforehand with acetone.
Apply the adhesive on one side (approx. 1 mm thick).
Press the parts firmly together and let them rest under pressure (and without vibrations).
Remove excess adhesive immediately.
Let the glue harden for about 24 hours (preferably clamped in for example a mold or glue clamp).
After 8 hours, the material is hardened in such a way that it can be carefully removed from the mold.
