FKM/Viton® Rubber Sheet

Viton® rubber is also known as fluorine rubber or FKM.
This type of rubber is known for its very good chemical resistance, has an electrically insulating effect and also offers good heat resistance.
The properties of this grade make Viton® rubber a popular choice for industrial working environments.
The material can be used at elevated temperatures, even up to 200 degrees Celsius.

The terms FKM, FPM and Viton® often cause confusion and lead to misinterpretations. All these designations actually stand for a single base material: fluororubber.
FPM is the international abbreviation according to DIN/ISO, while:
FKM is the abbreviation for the fluoroelastomer category according to the American standard ASTM
