Metal detectable silicone rubber is very suitable for applications in the food and pharmaceutical industries due to its metal detectable properties. 

In the food and pharmaceutical industries it is important that the materials used meet the (food) safety standards. Not every "standard" rubber material can be used in applications where there is (in) direct contact with food or pharmaceutical products.

Especially for these applications we supply metal detectable silicone rubber from European manufacture. Extra material has been added to this silicone rubber, making it visible for metal detectors, X-ray equipment or scanning equipment. This allows any contamination by rubber particles in the production process to be easily traced.
