Glue | Silicone glue | Elastosil E-41 | tube 90 ml

Elastosil professional silicone adhesive is suitable for bonding silicone material (cords, profiles, plates).

The structure and special properties of silicone makes this material difficult to bond. Elastosil has been specially developed to be able to make a good glue connection.

Applications

Elastosil silicone adhesive is suitable for:

adhesive joints
repair
sealing joints
making small shaped articles (for example for elastic hinges in model building)
coating of materials

Clean and degrease the material to be bonded beforehand with acetone.
Apply the adhesive on one side (approx. 1 mm thick).
Press the parts firmly together and let them rest under pressure (and without vibrations).
Remove excess adhesive immediately.
Let the glue harden for about 24 hours (preferably clamped in for example a mold or glue clamp).
After 8 hours, the material is hardened in such a way that it can be carefully removed from the mold.
